Underrated artists that I think should deserve much love

Hallo! This is my third post on this account and I have run out of ideas to write. 😅 As I have written in my post about podcasts, I mentioned that I like to write blogs while listening to something. Either it's music or stories. As I was writing the previous one, My friend asked me what I was doing when I told her that I was listening to music, she asked me what song? When I replied with the artist she told that She didn't know who I was talking about and that I had a weird taste in music. That's when it clicked to me that there are so many artists waiting for their songs to get popular. They pour their heart into it and we just criticize them without giving a second thought. In short, These are my favorite artists who I think are very underrated. 💚

1. Sub Urban

Daniel Virgil Maisonneuve known professionally as Sub urban, is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and songwriter. I found him through a song called "Cradles" Which I stumbled across on Tiktok as a dance trend. Even though his cradles songs are really popular and have gained a lot of attention because of Tiktok, Many of his songs are really underrated. Some may find his songs to be weird or creepy but I just think it's creative. The more and more songs I listened, I found myself becoming addicted to his somber voice. So do check his songs out and he has done many interviews and live performances with genius so you can listen to it too.

2. BBNO$ ( Pronounced as Baby No Money )

Alexander Leon Gumuchian better known as BBNO$ is a Canadian rapper. As the above mentioned about Sub Urban, I found BBNO$ through Tiktok ( Turns out I was obsessed with Tiktok for a while )
His song "Lalala" produced by Y2K grew fame through Tiktok because of a line he starts the song with.

"Did I just forget the melody?" - BBNO$

This line grew famous as people lipsynced to it for various comedy skits and made hand gestures to it.
He is very similar to Sub Urban. There are so many of his songs that are very Groovy but do not have many plays or views. He is a very down-to-earth and chill guy. He does not have very intense music but most of the songs are great to sing alone in the shower.

3. Surfaces

Surfaces is an American group music group consisting of vocalists/guitarists Forrest Frank and Colin Padalecki. I found them through ( You may have guessed it already. ) Tiktok. Their seventh track from the album "Sunday best" gained popularity in Tiktok for its dance challenge. I really liked their soft, uplifting positive music. I only started listening to them a few weeks ago but I'm already fell head over heels for them and their music.

I've linked their official site where you can listen to or buy music, merchandise or you can read Colin's blog which he updates now and then.

Okay! so that's the whole lot of artists that I think are really underrepresented. I also have an idea for a post where I will write about the popular artists but I really like them. If you are interested innit kindly comment down below.

Until then,
Truly Greg

SONGS TO LISTEN TO WHILE MURDERING!!! 👑

Salutations. Let's get something straight before starting, When we were younger, we all looked up to batman but as we grew up it was obvious who was more awesome: Joker. I can bet my head on the fact that everyone likes to be the villain rather than the protagonist.  Why I think villains are far cooler than heroes:  Aesthetics.  Most villains have a cool aesthetic. They naturally have a taste for the finer stuff which readers secretly adore too. Strategic nature  Readers enjoy strategic planning and the elaborate intelligence used by villains in manipulation rather than the pure inborn strength of most heroes. Relatable.  Heroes are already expected to win and for a good reason, I don't disagree, ie, their morals. But it's the persistence of villains even after our and perhaps even their knowledge that they'll fail that makes them likeable. Mystery.  The air they have about them of coldness, unpredictability and evil hooks the reader making them conce...

Can courage the cowardly dog be the best cartoon ever ?!?!

Greetings, peasants. I'm back with a controversial topic. Let's be honest here, Who doesn't like watching some good old cartoons? They are funny, visually beautiful to watch and a fun way to spend your time as a kid. But what if I told you there was a show which used stuff to repulse them from it but intrigued them enough just to watch one more episode?  Let me introduce you to Courage the cowardly dog .          The show is about a kind, yet easily frightened dog named courage. He lives with an elderly couple Muriel and her husband Eustace Bagge, A grumpy, selfish and greedy man. Courage and the owners frequently encounter ghosts, demons, monsters, aliens, mad scientists, zombies and vampires. Courage generally saves the owners from the perils but unbeknownst to the couple. The plot generally uses conventions common to Horror films.  This show in my personal opinion may be the best cartoon show to ever exist. Before coming after me with Tom and ...
